Transforming Choice provides residential alcohol detox and rehabilitation in a dedicated facility in Aigburth, Liverpool. We also have a residential home in Dovedale Road. We support individuals seeking to overcome addictions, offering a safe environment to embark on a journey towards a substance-free life. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Wellness Manager to join our team who is enthusiastic and a passion for doing the right thing. This role is essential in providing personalised support in a safe and supportive environment to our residents to enhance their quality of life.

Key responsibilities:

  • To work alongside operations manager and registered manager in delivering the service
  • Deliver female emotive workshops
  • Deliver key work sessions
  • Line management responsibilities for allocated wellness advocates
  • Ensure all reporting measures required for CQC and local authority commissioners are in place and reviewed regularly
  • Ensure safeguarding of residents is maintained at all times
  • Provide support for detox plans and ensure all documentation required is in place
  • Ensure all supervisions are carried out for direct report staff
  • Ensure all training is up to date
  • To complete daily records for each resident
  • To ensure all risk assessments are carried out as and when required
  • To attend all training days as required and ensure all mandatory training is up to date

 

What we are looking for: Essential requirements:

  • Must hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Proven experience in managing staff within a complex environment.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding
  • An enthusiastic self-starter who is resilient, motivated and can communicate effectively with both staff and residents.
  • Experience working within adult rehabilitation and a good understanding of addiction.
  • Knowledge of person-centred approach.
  • Experience delivering engaging and supportive workshops to residents.
